      A keeper indicated it was an albino of the black mangabey but thats clearly not correct. is this adefined sub-species or just colour variation?

      Szeged Zoo, in Hungary, had a 'white' black mangabey in the mid 1990s. This paper linked to by Newzooboy above is indeed very interesting - thanks!

      I couldn't find any reference to these anywhere on the internet for a long time and nothing on here and noone responded to my original comments, so was starting to get a bit desperate for information. You know how these things can become an obsession! ;)

      Anyway, came-up with a different search term and bingo! Mystery solved!
