Wrinkled Hornbill

This male was donated by a private collection as the owner of the bird knew that he'd never get a female for him. The pair of Hornbills will hopefully breed in the near future, but they are separated at the moment because they don't get on.

      Magnaminous is the word when it comes to the private holder giving over his male bird to Chester Zoo for breeding. Truly someone with conservation of these marvellous birds at heart.

      Hornbills I simply love and adore them ....... (sigh)
