Tecton Signage

Been trying to place this in the current zoo but have drawn a blank. Anybody able to expand on this?

      There's an old map floating around the internet with it on. I'm pretty confident it was near where the fairground is now.

      I guessed it was towards the bottom of the zoo because of the flat land around it. ;)

      The only thing I don't get is if it was a Tecton then how did they get rid of it? Or was it demolished before the other structures were protected?

      'In 1979, the penguin pool and enclosure were demolished. The salt water in the pool had reacted with the steel reinforcement in the building’s concrete, causing extensive corrosion'.

      I'm not sure what year they were listed but they were awarded World Monument status in 2009, if that's significant.

      Thanks for that @Benosaurus, luckily it got damaged early on or we'd be stuck with another unsuitable lump of concrete.
