      There are no Woolly Opossums listed as current on Zootierliste. Which species is this one and where did it come from?

      @birdsandbats - that possibly depends on who added it since my post, and what their source is. Not everyone who edits Zootierliste is capable.

      Really I'm interested in where it came from though, and what the subspecies is.

      @Chlidonias - I don't know who added that entry to ZTL, but the information is correct to the best of my knowledge; there was an import of Western Woolly Opossum into the European private trade about a year ago - in fact, I know of at least one Zoochatter who seriously looked into obtaining the species!

      @Giant Eland you just had to slip that little tidbit out, didn't you :p this means I have missed two oppossum species by mere months this year given the fact I visited Best in February and Frankfurt in April! And still never seen an opossum at all.

      @TeaLovingDave does it help if I've now seen both of these aforementioned Opossums, bringing my Opossum species total to 12...;)
