Gray's Monitor Exhibit (in orangutan house)

One cannot skip anything at this world-renowned zoo as there might be a Gray's Monitor exhibit adjacent to the indoor quarters for orangutans and gibbons. What a pleasant surprise! For those that don't know, Omaha lacks a Reptile House but instead has terrariums scattered throughout Lied Jungle, Desert Dome, Kingdoms of the Night, Expedition Madagascar and the Mutual of Omaha Pavilion. With 240 species (many off-show) Omaha has more reptiles and amphibians than any zoo in the nation.
