Is this in the row of small 'small mammal' enclosures?
    • LaughingDove
It's in those small mammal enclosures that are opposite the bird, mainly parrot, cages just to the right when you first enter the zoo.

There are a number of areas that you could describe as a row of small mammal enclosures.

@LaughingDove I wonder if that's the area that used to hold the clouded leopard. I was thinking of the row that has a suspiciously often changing line-up of things like giant squirrel and pangolin.

@FunkyGibbon No, not that row. That row, near the proboscis monkey enclosure, had Giant Squirrel, Pangolin, Slow Loris, and one empty.

The other enclosures that one might describe as small mammal enclosures are the binturong and porcupine enclosures around the same area as the pangolin etc. small mammal house, and the enclosures near the entrance opposite the birds with this palm civet. In those enclosures, in addition to this Masked Palm Civet, was a Common Palm Civet and additional Binturong. I could definitely see those enclosures holding a clouded leopard, especially if the three were joined together.

The Clouded Leopard was in the first cage of those three opposite the parrot aviaries. The first time I visited (2009) the other two held Malay Civet and Common Palm Civet. The second visit (2014) the two cages held Leopard Cat and Common Palm Civet.

In 2014 there were two young Masked Palm Civets in the row where the Pangolins etc are kept - the one in this photo may be one of those animals now full-grown.
