      Hauled out near the tideline. There were two white-coated pups at the top of the beach, but I couldn't get a decent photo over the cliff edge.

      @gentle lemur Conversly to the Chough I saw no seals this time, despite several cliff walks.

      @Pertinax This was taken at the National Trust's seal viewpoint at Godrevy. The seals in Cornwall seem to be quite skittish at pupping time, and I think this is the only site which is publicised as the beach is protected by steep cliffs.

      @gentle lemur I was also along the Lands End peninsula and visited Pendeen Lighthouse.There was a notice on the cliff path asking people not to disturb the seals at pupping time in the cove to the North, but I didn't get that far along. I know another breeding place near Boscastle too.

      @Ebirah766 Most Cornish place names are not actually English: the old Cornish language is a Gaelic language, similar to Welsh and Breton.
