Chilean area - Humboldt Penguins exhibit
Le Parc des Oiseaux opened in 2004 a large chilean area inspired by the coastal tip of the South of the American Continent. Visitors walk in a volcanic environment planted with many native plants (Auracaria...). The star-animals of the zone are the Humboldt Penguins (40 specimens), but Darwin Nandus and Andean Condors also live in large naturel exhibits.
