Looks nice! What is the reason for the roofing? Are there other flying birds in there? Protect the penguins from predatory birds?

The following species are kept in the Chilean aviary:
      - Humboldt penguin (Spheniscus humboldti)
      - Chilean flamingo (Phoenicopterus chilensis)
      - Scarlet ibis (Eudocimus ruber)
      - Black-necked stilt (Himantopus mexicanus)
      - Magellanic flightless steamer duck or Fuegian steamer duck (Tachyeres pteneres)
      - Black-necked swan (Cygnus melanocoryphus)
      - Black-bellied whistling duck (Dendrocygna autumnalis)
      - Inca tern (Larosterna inca)
      - Black-faced ibis (Theristicus melanopis)

The flamingo exhibit is on the other side of the visitor road from the penguin exhibit, the flying birds have access to both exhibits.
