First picture on the gallery of the new aquarium! Any strong thoughts about it? :D

It's a nice little aquarium. The exhibits are attractive and beautifully planted but there are only ten display tanks so it's a very small aquarium and it's rather disappointing that there are not many species of fish on show.

I don't know of other fresh water aquariums to compare it with. It is smaller than I had hoped, the fish are all of interest, coming from a wide diversity of environments, though a lot of them are tiny things. It is annoying that people are directed through the aquarium to get to the butterfly house which makes it more crowded and less easy to study the fish.

I guess it's easy to compare it with London's Aquarium, but as long as the tanks are good and the fish have nice habitats then that's the most important thing. Looking forward to visiting it (once the school holidays are over!).
