      I just measured the size of this enclosure out of curiosity, ~.42 acres in total, only .3 of which is land area. For some reason safari parks often have some of the worst elephant exhibits. For comparison the rhinos next-door have a .7 acre yard...

      @DelacoursLangur Thanks for doing that. Between Monde Sauvage, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Pakawi Park and Zoo Maubeuge, that makes it 5 fairly small elephant exhibits that I've seen thus far in western Europe. Pairi Daiza, Planckendael and Blijdorp are the three zoos (so far!) that have extra space for elephants.
