Stump-tailed macaque
    • gentle lemur
      Macaca arctoides. One of the reasons I like this species so much is that each individual is so different that they are usually very easy to recognise. I wished that Monkey World had photos on display so visitors could name them. Luckily I found a photo on the MW Facebook page - this is 'Toto'.
      I overheard one little girl saying to her parents "Look that one's a blonde. It looks like Dolly Parton, so I'll call it Dolly". I had to look the other way, because if they had seen this guy from the rear, it is more than obvious that he is 100% male. And then I imagined the language that Ms Parton might have used if she had been listening too :eek:
