Monkeys House with pied tamarins, white-face sakis, golden-headed lion tamarins, golden-bellied capuchins, greater bamboo lemurs, red-bellied lemurs, lhoest monkeys, Edwards's pheasant, blue-crowned laughingthrush, blue-crowned parakeet, lilacine amazons and green-thighed parrots.

      Until 2019, there was the last Müeller's gibbon in France, dead at 64 !

      I remember visiting this zoo not too long ago and I found it had good enclosures (except maybe the crocodile exhibit, and was really quite nice. However, it is too small to be a major French zoo sadly. It however makes a nice 2-3 hour visit if one does not spend 3 hours in front of the Amur leopard as I did :D

      You are right. It is a free municipal zoo and many people spend little time there. The current species are interesting and perfectly replace the tigers, bears, elephants...
      Exactly, the Crocodiles House is too small for the size of the animals.
