Did a bit of work on it today and it now looks much more like a young leopard. Might post a photo later today to see what yall think about the recent work, because I'm not sure about it

I think it is looking beautiful so far. It takes a really long time working in pencil but you have gotten a lot done from what I can tell. Very nice job.

Thank you! I guess you know about the pencils from your beautiful drawings of Kolya you posted earlier! It's almost done, only the bottom right and bottom to do, but the only problem I have is whether to do the whiskers or not. The whiskers would take a really long time and probably wouldn't be very effective, and I think it looks all right without them, but it is a major feature of an Amur leopard. Perhaps it would help to see the most recent changes on the drawing?

I haven’t mastered this myself as my entire life I avoided working in color. Most permanent medium for me used to be pen and ink. But back to whisker strrategy - the best way to do this is by putting the whiskers on at the end using a very fine brush dipped in powdered color pencil (titanium white) thoroughly desolved into a bit of mineral spirits should be a thin pastry liquid). Basically the white overlay will be opaque so stand out distinctly. I would recommend practicing this technique over a dark sheet or paper till you feel comfortable with the brush and the result you can expect. You don’t want to ruin your beautiful drawing by doing this without the practice work, etc. Hope this is helpful.

Thank you so much! That is really helpful and I will try my best to do this :)
