      The seal basin Brådjupet in Kolmården. Brådjupet is translated into "Brå depth" and originates from the Bråviken (translated into "Brå bay") just outside the park, seen in the background. The basin is a natural ravine enclosed by a wall and is 9 m deep. The wall is the part in the background and has underwater viewing in several levels. In this enclosure you find grey seal, harbour seal and South African fur seal. It was also home to Humboldt penguin eralier. The penguins' old enclosure was quite small so they were moved to the seal basin, but didn't thrive so after about five years they were moved to other parks.
