      Could it be Centropyge deborae?
    • DaLilFishie
@Yoshistar888 I don't think so. It looks like it's tail is a different colour to the body, C. deborae's tail is the same colour as the body. It's definitely some species of Centropyge.

@DaLilFishie Going through Centropyge, there is no other angelfish with this blue on it's body with different fins. The only other angelfish that looks remotely similar is centropyge nox but it it's not deborae it's definitely not nox either?

      This is puzzling me

@DaLilFishie This is where the situation gets even weirder, I found another angelfish in a different tank that is like this fish but it's got the right coloured fins, is it certain that this is not the reflection.

The other angelfish is at the top right of this image

@Yoshistar888 the fish in the corner of the pic you linked isn't an angelfish. Looks like a spinecheek anemonefish (Premnas biaculeatus) without the body stripes (possibly a captive bred morph. there are morphs of occellaris with no stripes, but never heard of the same for spinecheeks). Possibly the fish in the first pic is an aberrant/undescribed species misidentified when it was collected. I know it seems like a stretch but that's the best i can come up with.
