jaguar in the jungle

@Arizona Docent Fred and I had a great time visiting Jaguar Cove while we spent the day at Woodland Park Zoo. The exhibit was actually closed all morning due to some minor painting but in the afternoon one of the cats was let out into the habitat and Fred was beaming with joy. The animal went everywhere in the exhibit, whether that was through the jungle-like foliage, rubbing briefly up against the viewing windows, onto the rocks above our heads, etc. A great photography opportunity for a zoo nerd. :)

    • Onychorhynchus coronatus
Very pantanal-esque planting in that enclosure.
