      Yes, they have various smaller critters there-(including the nocturnal area), but nothing remarkable...

      Fact: every *** zoo has sub standard exhibits. So, we can all slag off this exhibit as you like. Just remember this goes for Toronto, NY Bronx and San Diego too ... or Edinburgh, Kolmarden or where-ever you are.

      To put it plainly: this exhibit is down for the axe ... right now! The next big project in Erfurt - which is a pretty welcoming and attractive zoo by any standard - both in exhibitry and animal collection and diversity - is the building of an entirely new elephant exhibit complete with house. The end result will be aka their excellent rhino facilities - most western world zoos eat your heart out here -. Opening within the next 2 years.
