Not on the map is the entrance of this nocturnal house with a few terraria. I remember aquatic caecilian and Luristan newt are kept in that area.

@AWP Based on memory, what is now enclosure 3 didn't exist yet in 2004 and was part of Australia. The flyer I own also mentioned Senegal Galago for 1 already in 2004 and Viscacha in 5 (though they were very quickly removed).

Titicaca frogs are also kept near the entrance!

Thank you so much for this!

Walkthrough enclosures, mixed species enclosures, and nocturnal areas are some of the most amazing and interesting things in zoos. And this is the only place I know of that has all three in one

I still have a great memory of me and my dad being absolutely horrified at the size of a sloth, until realising it was actually a keeper doing a checkup

@lintworm Thanks for your information. Hence the question mark, I wasn't sure where the viscachas were kept (in 2004 I only took notes of the species kept, the map is from later date).

@Mr Gharial Emmen had a walkthrough mixed species nocturnal area as well.

btw, the single Greater Galago they had might never have made it on show, not sure anymore...

@AWP I was sadly never able to visit Emmen, Only wildlands. Which is kind of meh

Would like to add that it is now

      1. Western Woylie, Grey-handed night monkey, Two-toed sloth
      2. Feather-tailed glider
      3. Malagasy jumping rat, Pygmy slow loris
      4. Azara's agouti
      5. Two-toed sloth

There's also a terrarium with Titicaca water frog in the beginning, and one with burrowing cockroaches underneath the feathertail gliders. I'm going to make an updated version later, as well as a map of 100.000 animal house
