Eurasian Wigeon (Mareca penelope) and Black-Necked Swan (Cygnus melancoryphus)

      My guess is that this is a readhead (Aythya americana), although all the colors are a little pale. Maybe because it is a subadult/non-breeding individual?

      I think it could also be a Eurasian wigeon, mainly because of the chestnut front.

      Yep, looks like Eurasian Wigeon, though it's an awkward angle!

      Well, after reading your posts guys (@amur leopard and @Maguari), I also think that it is closer to an Eurasian wigeon then to a readhead. Does anyone of you know if DAK has one of this species in its stock (or even both)? Would make it a little easier to determite.

      @zoomaniac I didn't see them there on my only visit in 2013 (though I did see them at Miami), but that's long enough ago to be pretty meaningless now! :D

      Could well be a wild animal - Eurasian wigeons have been introduced to Florida I believe.
