      I think it might be the sixth viewing window. But I'm not sure

      @TinoPup 8 actually ;)

      This complex entirely devoted to cheetahs was built a few years ago - they now have 10 cheetahs, with a few more due to be born soon if I remember correctly. The 8 exhibits are all quite large and natural and are squished together into an oval shape, covering an area of over 12,000 sqm in total. It is my understanding that the cheetahs are rotated regularly.

      The zoo is really quite large (in the top 5 in France I think at 80 hectares) and is free to visit. Given the Mediterranean vegetation which tends to resemble the African bush, the vast majority of the animals are African, with a tropical rainforest and a Madagascan area and an upcoming European area as well.

      The cheetah exhibits are all a bit like this: Fourth cheetah exhibit - ZooChat

      Hopefully that answers your question :)

      @amur leopard That is fantastic! Breeding centers in the USA are often set up like this, with a lot of separate yards, but they're always behind the scenes. This place is definitely on my list now if I ever make it to France :) Thanks for taking photos of them! I'm working on a personal document of every cheetah exhibit worldwide, the French zoos are really under photographed lol.

      @TinoPup A shame that so few are visible - I think I might do a full walkthrough of the zoo in due course because I seem to be the only one on this site to have visited and it really isn't a bad zoo at what it does, and will be much improved once renovations are over - the plan is to build three 15,000 sqm (~161,000 sqft) savanna exhibits with elevated walkways, with separate complexes for the lions, cheetahs and wild dogs, and then renovate Madagascar and Europe.

      However, I would probably prioritise other places to truly see Europe's best :D.
