      That's a great shot of them!

      @Pertinax Thanks
      I'm surprised no-one has posted them leaping yet, unless I missed them. I think this was from a few weeks ago. They've certainly showed less energy on my last couple of visits

      I took a few of them leaping, but the only ones properly in focus just showed legs and feet :oops:

      As nice as the enclosure is, with big clear windows, I found the main challenge is that people really do appear from nowhere when they start leaping :rolleyes: making it harder to adjust your position and take time to adjust settings if needed, or even swap lens when they get too close.

      @littleRedPanda Those windows are quite big, but the enclosure is very big (927 sq metres) so I could only photograph the sifakas in certain parts of the enclosure without getting distortion from shooting at an angle through the glass. I was at the zoo before 'Freedom Day', so visitors were asked to stay behind a yellow line, about a metre from the window, which also made it harder to avoid reflections in the glass (I don't know if those lines are still there). In addition, the glass appeared to be clean and clear, but many of the photos I expected to be fine, were actually slightly soft. That could have been my fault of course, but it did not affect my other photos around the zoo, so I can't explain it without wondering about the glass.

      Lovely image of a wonderful species :).

      The glass does appear to have patches that distort more than other areas, when shooting at an angle and it's not always obvious when viewing pics on the camera. As for the standoff lines, they were occasionally being ignored by visitors but I tend to wear black and position myself to block out reflections if I can't get close to the glass.
