Silas Webfoot

Undated chrome postcard featuring Silas Webfoot, a trained duck at the now-closed (?) Fairyland Zoo in Black Hills, South Dakota. Back of postcard reads: SILAS WEBFOOT, cantankerous telegrapher in Fairyland's Bewitched Village, sends a rapid fire telegraph message. Bewitched village is peopled by live animals who continue their everyday activities although, it is said, they have been changed into animals by drinking bewitched water. Many of these performers have received national recognition in magazines and on TV.
