Tiger and TNT like this.

A pontoon being built next to the orangutan islands, presumably indicating that some sort of work is about to take place. The chap in the water must have drawn the short straw but it's interesting to see how shallow the moat is. We used to debate who would dive in to rescue little Tatty if her fearless activities at the water's edge led to her falling in. But it looks as though we could have just waded in.

Hopefully this means some climbing structures for them :)

It looks almost like a raft. I hope Chinta doesn't get ideas.

@gentle lemur She'd probably push Wousan on to it and set it adrift! She was very vociferous in objecting to his presence this morning. Mali and Tatty would have been off and away, probably with one of their sheets as a sail ;)

@Gigit - wasn’t it the other bank (opposite the playground) where they cleared an area that we thought may be used for island access, or, was it eventually used for Lego models? I do hope this is to sort out the lack of climbing opportunities. Thanks for taking the pictures and for updates.

@TriUK Yes it ended up being used for Lego. It will be interesting to see what happens - a revamp is long overdue.
