      For those that might be wondering what I mean by 'Egyptian facade gone', here is what the Giraffe Barn looked like 10 years ago when I first visited Detroit Zoo in 2008:

      I thought it had an Egyptian facade! Although they were doing construction in the yard when I went, I did notice it on the walls of the building.
