Gull aviary and nordic waterfowl

The gull aviary with several rarely seen gull species, with in forefront the former baikal seal enclosure, where several nordic waterfowl species are kept.

This was one of the most exciting aviaries at the Tierpark, probably the most exciting mixed aviary for me. I hope the collection within is retained under the new director and masterplan. Could be very nicely integrated in a new zone incorporating the polar bears and northern pinniped/s. I didn;t realise the adjacent pool had previously held Baikal seals.
