@birdsandbats Ok I don't think I worded that correctly. I mean like he can just go out and sit around and look at owls like he has a choice, I will happily stumble upon an owl with my camera.
I sort of compare that to someone just self-proclaiming themselves a "Vaquita photographer".

@CheeseChameleon1945 I still don't understand. I go out and specifically look for owls all the time. They are a lot easier to find than Vaquitas, and I also don't see why someone couldn't be Vaquita photographer.

      I mean so do I. . . . But I never find them.
Nevermind I guess it's just me again not understanding that other people can have much more Luck on an astounding scale than I do. . . :p

@CheeseChameleon1945 I come across owls occasionally during the day, not too often but enough. I don't usually go looking for owls unless they're rare, like this one or Burrowing, I've seen plenty of Great Horneds and Barn to know I'll see one sooner or later.

Sooner or later will hopefully be sooner or later. . .
Again, I just don't seem to have very good luck and most of the time when I can go birding is in the Afternoon and that's not a very great time to find birds.

@CheeseChameleon1945 Just going out in the early morning will increase the amount of animals you see immensely! :)

Don't have time, mornings most of the time are of course me going to (the place that you go do stuff and watch people in a cafeteria mix there salad with chocolate milk and call it a delicacy) and sat and sun mornings are other practices outside of that aforementioned place.
Still convinced you guys have like a bird magnet that was given to you from an elf in a tree some time long ago, but honestly, I really wish I could get out in the mornings!

@CheeseChameleon1945 I saw that Great Gray at 2:30 in the afternoon, and I've also seen Great Horned, Barn, Short-eared, and Burrowing in the afternoon so there's hope! ;)
    • CheeseChameleon1945
      It's just luck, then; :)
Maybe you guys live in Walsrodale bird park and your all delusional. :p

@CheeseChameleon1945 Quite a large park then given I've seen daylight owls on both sides of the continent! :D
