[CLOSED] Window on Paradise

Jurong had always held Birds of Paradise throughout its history, and had success in breeding species like the Lesser, Red, King and 12-wired, while also ever housing species like the Magnificent and Wilson's. As of its closing, the park still held 4 species - Raggiana, Lesser, King and 12-wired.

In the early 2000s, the park's Birds of Paradise aviaries, renamed Window on Paradise, were retrofitted with an upper walkway that allowed visitors to enter the aviaries and view the birds without any mesh in the way. The lower level retained its conventional mesh viewing windows. Other bird species which exhibited lekking behaviour were also displayed in these aviaries at different times, including Andean Cock-of-the-Rock and Green Oropendola.
