New chimp indoors at Hannover Zoo. A net instead of a moat, bigger and windows. When the new outdoors is done, than it will be more jungle themed.

      The concrete pillar (on the left)and the structure above it- was that in the original enclosure and if so, what was it?

      It was. Kind of a overhang so the chimps could get under it some ropes to climb.
