      Interesting, too, to see the dog on a lead. Does anyone know if any issues have arisen from dogs being allowed in the zoo? Are they given untrammelled access?

      I don't think l will ever get use to seeing a domestic dog on a lead at a zoo!

      It's a rare sight in Britain but certainly not unheard of (Cotswold allows dogs on leads, for one). Much more common in Germany.
