      Wow, those are some impressive tusks!

      It had to do with how the pool was lined, not sure if I can put it in words what I mean exactly, but the tusks would not wear down no matter if 'Antje' was pulling herself out of the pool.

      Would they come from Russia then?

      Other walrus never had tusks in that enclosure, they used them there off, like everywhere else.

      From where the new ones come is not out yet.

      That is a hilarious photo! And those are definitely the longest walrus tusks I have ever seen.
