Melbourne's Orang-utan Sanctuary..
orangutan enclosure #3. this outdoor enclosure is the largest and features a "forest" of green sway poles. it is interesting to see how the apes prefer to use them instead of travelling on the ground. just like they would in the wild, they instead brachiate to anywhere they like, allowing the ground to be heavily planted with grasses and shrubs.
