Please tell me that there is more to this elephant exhibit than what can be seen in this photo? There is no date on the photo to judge the age of this barren paddock.
I've taken this pic in June 2006, in the meantime,the exhibit should be now much bigger, for the bull also, becausse the zoo has gave away the asian elephants, which has lived right next to the africans. The formely asian elephant exhibit should be now usable for the africans, it was under construction during my visit.
Now people can look out their apartment windows and see elephants bobbing their heads as they slowly go insane in their barren paddock. Brutal.
