      @bongorob: That's exactly the point. They are commonly kept in the UK (and the rest of Europe) AS FREE RANGING animals (with success over many decades). So why built an AVIARY for them??????

      Thanks for explaining zoomaniac. I suspect the aviary will not just be for peafowl, in my experience they hardly ever fly anyway.
