Demidoff's galago (pet) 1

Galagoides demidovii, subadult male. The most endearing pet animal I have ever encountered. My friends were brought it as a young animal, and it lived in their house. It could jump from your hand to your shoulder, but it was so small and light that you could hardly feel it doing so. It went out into the bush each evening. One morning it did not return - did it encounter a female Demidoff's or an owl? Volta Region, Ghana, June 1975.
