The old polar bear exhibits. Further on you will see one of the best Polar Bear exhibits in Europe at the time.

IMO it still looks suitable for Polar bears

Well all they would need to do is clean up the exhibit a bit and make the pool deeper and maybe have a filtration system in there water

- ARE we looking at the same photo????? This is a small concrete grotto. What quality do u see in this? Im sorry but some of your comments today have been absurd. This would be fine in the 50's but we are in the 21 century.

- Maybe in a third world country. The exhibit is all concrete and has no room and all you say is to filter the water.

Ok this exhibit isnt great, and the new one is undeniably better, but this still meets the very basic needs of the polar bears, back when the polar bears were in a concrete grotto in San Diego they actually bred well from what I know, but obviously more is better for all animals.
