Drained Giant Otter pool at the Chestnut Centre, March 09

Drained for renovation works. These works are being carried out before the arrival of the new female Giant Otter currently in quarantine at the New Forest Otter and Owl Centre - the male is shut into his large house and a small yard at the moment. The pool is a converted Victorian ornamental pond.
