      They have boxes too, but it is a pretty big area compared to most other zoos. I think this is about two thrids of the whole area.

      The indoor exhibit for elephants in Hagenbeck is indeed very good and one of the best for elephants in Europe.

      How large is the indoor space? That area looks too small (from the photo) for one elephant--let alone more. How is the outdoor exhibit?

      I am not sure how large it is but the photo is taken from a weird angle and does not do the exhibit justice in terms of size
