So it's time for another random memory from Pat that may or may not be wrong but I think Amersfoort had a similar mix for a while.

That is something I have certainly never seen in all my zoo travels.

This it's not an enclosure itself, just it's a show -managed by human trainers- and developed in an amphitheatre.

The Jackal is incredibly tame isn't he?. I was there yesterday but his usual trainer wasn't. The Jackal still came out with the vultures but didn't do his usual sit, stay, come, roll over, routine.
