      They have always held a very few Flamingos , probably not the same ones , the old enclosure was very poor compared to this .

      Interesting how different people view this exhibit.

      To me it looks almost as far removed from their natural situations as could be possible- tiny group, single sex, pool and closed in woodland setting, birds shut in shed probably from 5 pm to about 8 a.m so more than half of every 24 hours. ... not really a brilliant advert for zoo keeping IM0 but still fairly typical for smaller parks..

      yes it certainly is not a salt lake replica,the ones at drayton mannor are shut up at night too.

      and ponds tth are enclosed by trees are often very mucky and flamingos are messy anyway soo the water is probably very smelly

      In March 2016, the flamingoes were no longer on display... Does anyone know what happened?

      They weren't there in August 2014 either they are meant to be redeveloping the area
