      A first breeding for Chester.Chester was the first UK zooto breed Loriculus. In 1959 4 chicks were hatched by a male blue-crowned hanging parrot (Loriculus galgulus) and a female Ceylon Hanging Parrot (Loriculus beryllianus), of which 2 were reared.
