      This scrub-jay family were known to the couple we stayed with, and were very friendly! Such a beautiful bird.

      Before I went out to Florida I had in my head, almost unspoken, three particular birds I wanted to see - this was the second we were able to track down (Limpkin was the first; I'd have to wait a little longer for the third, Black Skimmer).
