Wow, how fascinating. When was this space converted from Cat Grottos to an aviary?

@UngulateNerd92 The former Cat grottos which held tigers, cougars, jaguars, lions, and leopards, was converted in 2005 into the current baboon and leopard enclosures as well as this beautiful aviary.

An interesting fact I'd like to add about the history of these grottos, Is that the leopard enclosure (which currently houses a lone, pure African leopard male named Forrest) was home to a female Snow Leopard leased to the park from a zoo in Germany from 2005 to 2011. The only Snow Leopard that to my knowledge has ever been displayed in Africa.
