Is this exhibit as small as it looks?

The exhibit is quite small, and the shape of it is long and narrow. The entire great apes complex (and this is the only zoo in North America to have gorillas, orangutans, bonobos and chimpanzees) is only 2.5 acres. That also includes colobus monkeys, mandrills and gibbons as well. All of the exhibits are about average quality, as they aren't spectacular but they aren't brutal either.
