This is the reticulated giraffe male imported from Dvur Kralove in October 2012. Their erstwhile Rothschild's giraffe group of male Niky / Zarko (died in December 2011) and female Viva / Ema was dissolved later that month when the female was transferred to Jagodina Zoo. Interested also: the origins of the giraffe male Jovance / Jovanca in Jagodina Zoo!
Niky was born in Olomouc 12.09.97 - moved to Belgrad 1998 and correctly died 2011. Viva/Ema was transferred to Jagododina but moved two years later back as a read in an article to Belgrad. Any more infos wourd be great if this info is correct - but think she died realy nearly - any infos about Ema or Jovance at Jagodina would be great.
