Is this at the zoo or the Tierpark?
    • Zebraduiker
That's the zoo, there are no apes left at the Tierpark. The old ape house there is now used for sun bears.

Then how the hell did I miss that?!
Where abouts is this? I remember seeing the Gorillas outside enclosure, it was an island on a lake which was near the elephants. Is this mesh exhibit new?

Oh, so you have seen just the gorilla exhibit for the old , non-breeding females, which are now almost 50 years old.

Yes, the mesh chimp exhibit is brand new, it was not yet used by the chimps during my visit.

I don't know why you missed it, because its on the way to the entrance of the ape and monkey house.

Ah yes I think I did see it, just threw me a bit because I never saw the Gorillas in that exhibit. I found that building confusing though, due to the amount of apes in one building and all the enclosures being close together lol.
