If this is in Kifu's group, its probably 'Tebe'. Tebe is a female who was imported as a baby from Africa to Howletts in 1982 but for many years she never bred though they couldn't understand why. They gave her a medical and found she had been operated on before leaving Africa(she originally came from a research station) and her reproductive organs had been tampered with. So they believed she was infertile and discounted her as a breeder. As an adult she was always very 'butch' and strutted around and displayed like a male.

But somehow she finally managed to get pregnant and had a baby(which died) They called it a 'miracle' birth. She then had another(male, Kebu) in 2000 which she reared and another(male,Ebeki) in 2003 and maybe another since then? Her behaviour changed radically when she became a mother, calm and contented. A very strange story-although I'm not 100% sure this photo is Tebe!

Looking again I'd say definately its Tebe. She still looks rather a miniature Silverback...
