Great Crane Project birds revisiting Slimbridge

North east corner of Tack Piece. 6th February 2013. The colour rings identify them as Ruby, Sedge, Chris and Monty, all released in 2010. The main flock lives near the release site, 60 miles south of Slimbridge (where the birds were hand-reared from eggs collected in Germany). These 4 birds have been seen at Slimbridge frequently, usually on the Dumbles (saltmarsh), but here nearer the captive collection. See http://www.thegreatcraneproject.org.uk/
