Greater Kudu

This male came into the camp every morning to take a drink in the river and feed on some bushes by the riverbank. He was quite tame and you could walk very close to him even without making him respond. The only Kudu that we saw in Samburu National Park, we had more lucky with this species in several other places.

      What an absolutely wonderful photograph sebbe67 - I am most jealous indeed! Most of the G. kudu I saw out in Botswana never stood long enough for you to get the camera lens off, let alone a photo like this! Wonderful stuff, keep them coming! :)
