      It looks like the ends of the peacock's toes are missing. This could be a problem due to not enought heat durring the winter. Durring the winter green peafowl need roosts wide enought that they can lay on their feet to keep them warm, or an indoor heated shelter.

      The concrete floor wouldn't help either. Frost-sensitive pheasants like this, can either be shut in a shed on deep litter with no perches [so they have to sit on the floor and keep their feet warm] or have perches heated with greenhouse heating tape.
